About Us
Better Half Staffing LLC arose from a concern for the unique abilities and demands of women in the workforce. We do not cater only to women, but rather extend this concept of caring for the
individual worker to the entirety of our workforce, regardless of gender, race, or any other
characteristic.
Amanda Lowe is the president and owner of BHS. Amanda’s father, Don Stallard, created the staffing firm The Reserves Network, Inc. in 1984. Amanda grew up in and around the business, taking on various roles over the years including stints in Human Resources, Advertising, and after she earned her law degree, outsourced legal work. Amanda’s two brothers, Neil and Nick Stallard, also grew up in the family business and eventually rose to become the CEO (Neil) and CFO then later Chief Growth Officer (Nick). Amanda ventured out into the legal arena of the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office as a criminal prosecutor for 20 years before returning “home” to become a full-time employee of The Reserves Network as Vice President and Legal Counsel. During her time in that position, Amanda made a number of observations about ways in which staffing could be improved, to the benefit of both customers and employees. Those observations are the impetus and inspiration for Better Half Staffing.
With the support and encouragement of her brothers, Amanda created Better Half Staffing to focus on building a new staffing firm from scratch: one that could specialize in the particular care Amanda sought to convey to all employees. Better Half Staffing was created on December 22, 2021 in Fairview Park, Ohio with an individual investment by Amanda. Better Half Staffing seeks to bring accountability to the industry, aiming for higher satisfaction in placement from both customers and employees. Employment should be a win-win proposition.
“Better Half is a better way to staff.”
